Empowering Community Colleges To Build the Nation’s Future is the result of more than one hundred community college CEOs, thought leaders, and faculty’s collaborative work over the past two years. The text provides research-based road-maps to assist institutions in implementing each of the seven recommendations from the 2012 Report of the 21st-Century Commission on the Future of Community Colleges: Reclaiming the American Dream-Community Colleges and the Nation’s Future. This guide outlines specific actions colleges must take to address the challenges and improve completion rates.
